Marcel the Shell

I'm sure you've seen the short "Marcel the Shell With Shoes On", by Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp. If not, watch it and be amused!

There's also a sequel and book! And, the reason for this post, a free crochet pattern! It's easily stitched up in an afternoon and if you're anything like me, you'll squeal with delight each time you look at it. Here's my Marcel with his pet "dog":
